VisioNexT, a leader in Vision AI SoC (System on a Chip) technology, has announced a collaboration with A.I.Matics, a vehicle AI video recognition solution company, to enhance On-Device AI cameras.

The two companies recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Hanwha Pangyo R&D Campus, with the signing ceremony attended by Woo Jung-ho, CEO of VisioNexT, and Lee Hoon, CEO of A.I.Matics.

This partnership aims to develop a technological roadmap for next-generation On-Device AI cameras targeting the fleet management market. It also seeks to establish a long-term collaboration framework to develop innovative services and expand joint business opportunities.

The On-Device AI cameras to be developed through this collaboration will utilize AI technology to identify risks both inside and outside the vehicle, delivering real-time alerts to drivers to help prevent accidents. Fleet managers will be able to leverage real-time monitoring and operation management functions provided by the platform to address risky driving behaviors.
