A.I.Matics (CEO Lee Hoon) has achieved Korea’s first Grade A Data Quality Certification for unstructured data, based on its large-scale real-road driving video datasets.

The certification ceremony, held at WiseStone’s headquarters, was attended by A.I.Matics’ leadership, WiseStone CEO Lee Young-seok, and key industry stakeholders, who gathered to share the significance of this milestone.

Setting a New Industry Standard

The Data Quality Certification (DQC) is a program designated by Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT, where a national public certification body evaluates dataset reliability and quality from an objective standpoint.
This Grade A award marks the first domestic certification for unstructured datasets such as video and image data. It validates the quality and technical reliability of A.I.Matics’ global-scale real-road datasets, officially recognizing them as best-in-class.
To earn Grade A, datasets must:

• Pass multiple mandatory and selective evaluation categories

• Score at least 0.95 per item and an overall average of 0.99 or higher

A.I.Matics submitted road-driving video and image datasets collected from diverse conditions worldwide, achieving top ratings across all categories including credibility, accuracy, and consistency.

Technology and Data Leadership Officially Recognized

The certified datasets will now serve as core infrastructure for AI learning, autonomous driving, and safety system development. Collected under diverse climates and road environments, they provide large-scale, high-quality training data for critical AI use cases.

WiseStone’s Role in Data Quality Certification

WiseStone has been a leader in the field since 2019, when it was first accredited by KOLAS as Korea’s inaugural data quality testing lab under ISO/IEC 25024. Last year, it was further designated by the Ministry of Science and ICT as an official data quality certification body.
