Overview


Sampyo Industry is one of Korea’s leading construction material companies, operating a large fleet of mixer trucks across the nation.
Due to the nature of the industry, frequent accidents such as mixer truck rollovers, on-site/backroad collisions, driver fatigue, and rear-end crashes have been a constant issue—raising legal and financial risks.

Solution


AImatics customized its AI-based onboard solution to meet Sampyo Industry’s needs by enabling real-time accident detection, driver monitoring, and ODD-based (Operational Design Domain) event recording.

The solution leverages AImatics’ proprietary AI engine to analyze driver behavior, detect high-risk events such as fatigue or drowsiness, and provide alerts for invisible blind spots—ensuring proactive prevention of critical accidents.

Sampyo began with a proof-of-concept (PoC) deployment across 10 mixer trucks, validating the system’s effectiveness before expanding further. Since 2023, the solution has been scaled to more vehicles, with continuous AI model updates delivered through OTA (Over-the-Air) technology to improve accuracy and efficiency.
